I've been MIA for almost a year on Urwid, mostly just being too busy
with work, but also because switching back to mercurial and hg-git has
just become harder for me because the only VCS I've been using
recently is git.
github isn't perfect, but it's pretty good. It does also seem to be
the place that most open source projects have settled.
Moving to github as the official repo for Urwid development should
also allow me to share the load so that things don't get stalled for
so long again. Simply not having to go through the hg-git process will
make it easier for people to contribute too. Finally there are a bunch
of great pull requests already on github.
If you are interested in helping prepare the next Urwid release,
particularly if you have code that's waiting to be merged, please send
me an email.
